        Greetings, Earth-Dwellers,
Welcome to the second installment of the Italian Trilogy. As it happens, the
only things which are left after this are a sub class or two, and a load of
frigates and the odd destroyer, of which none of the surface vessels are in
current service...not as many as I had anticipated, so I will probably cut
this Trilogy short at two. However, if there is a demand for the TPFs...
As is my usual practice, where no appropriate sensor was in the 360
database, I have taken as close as possible a sensor as was. Included in the
ship resums below are a list of the actual sensors the ship has in real life.
The effect on gameplay is/should be minimal.
Those who have downloaded ITALY1.ZIP will doubtless have noticed the
profusion of Mk34 76mm guns on the Veneto, Doria, Audace, and maybe a few
others. I am not quite sure how the mistake ocurred, and I could have sworn I
had created an OTO Mk1 76mm.. but evidently not. This mount *is* included with
these TPFs (ie in the De Cristofaro TPF) and I recommend changing the Mk34s to
the OTO Mk1:- It has a much better chance to hit. Apologies for that one.

Anyroads, the files out of ITALY2.ZIP are:-

        ALBA.TPF Aquila (F542) Albatros (F544), Arione (F545).
SPQ-2, QCU-2. Useless by Italian standards.
        CASS.TPF Cassiopea (P401), Libra (P402), Spica (P403), Vega (P404),
Orione (P405) plus 3 others. Patrol corvettes.
                        Nav radar
DECR.TPF Pietro De Cristofaro (F540), Umberto Grosso (F541), Licio
                        Visintinni (F546), Salvatore Todaro (F550).
Note the remark for the above ALBA.TPF.
                        SPQ-2, SQS-36 Hull, SQS-36 VDS
        MINE.TPF Minerva (F551), Urania (F552), Danaide (F553), Sfinge (F554)
                Driade (F555), Chimera (F556), Fenice (F557), Sibilla (F558)
                        RAN-10S, SPN-728, DE 1167LF VDS.
With room for expansion, this is one of the best
                        corvette classes going.
SALV.TPF Salvatore Pelosi (S522), Giuliano Prini (S523) and
two others. Improved Sauro class. Can take 4 harpoons
                        instead of A.244 torps.
                        BPS-704, IPD 70s, MD 100s.
SAUR.TPF Nazario Sauro (S518), Fecia di Cossato (S519),
Leonardo da Vinci (S520) (Well, there has to be one..)
                        Guglielmo Marconi (S521)
No Harpoons, otherwise almost identical to Salv Pelosi
Haven't quite figured out why the older boat has
better endurance. Sensors as for SALV.TPF
        SPAR.TPF Sparviero (P420), Nibbio (P421), Falcone (P422),
                        Astore (P423), Grifone (P424), Gheppio (P425), Condor
                        (P426)
Nippy little beggars, but then they are hydrofoils.
                                3RM7.

In addition, there are a number of .TXT files, to provide
something to put instead of the extremely boring 'Description
                not available' message.

At this time, I would like to thank everyone who has made comments or
provided opinions on my work so far, whom I could number on the
fingers of my right hand, even if over half the fingers were
        amputated.

                Have a nice day...
