The AAP7A1 Amtrac is the U.S. Marine Corps
primary amphibious fighting vehicle. The Amtrac can
carry 21 Marines over sea and shore for 300 miles,
and carries a .50 caliber machine gun and a 40mm

not as powerful as a similer sized Bradley Fighting
vehicle, the Amtrac can operate in heavy surf up to
10 feet high. The maneuverable Amtrac can turn 360
degrees in it's own length. The vehicle has a production
run of near 1,000 units and is in service with Marine forces
